Large investments when starting up a network infrastructure are a thing of the past. The basis of the coverage area consists of the range of the GSM masts. You can also communicate indoors by installing indoor GSM cells or via a WiFi connection. Group conversation
The group call is one of the standard call types and is characterized by a very fast call set-up. Access to the conversation is thereby ensured by assigning priority. All users within a group can listen in and initiate the conversations of their own group.
Multi-groups
A call can be made that is intended for multiple groups within a company. A division into groups is made in advance, so that only those units that have been pre-programmed are always called.
Individual call
It is possible to call a user selectively. Such a call allows communication between individuals. A selective call can be made in both simplex and full-duplex mode.
Voice communication
The realptt network offers the possibility of direct voice communication between users by means of so-called "push-to-talk". The speech is of excellent quality, is digitally encoded and cannot be eavesdropped. This push-to-talk facility is essential for mission-critical applications and a connection is established within a second. Besides the one to one traffic (selective call) like with a mobile phone, the realptt poc network offers many other calling and communication facilities.
Division into groups
Within poc, a distinction is made between individual calls and group calls. A participant can be a member of multiple groups while within the system it is possible to form groups dynamically. Different priorities ensure the correct handling of the calls. Naturally, the maximum priorities per user are authorized by the central system.
General Call
This refers to a call that is intended for multiple groups within a company. Again, only those units that are pre-programmed in the general call group are called.
Group conversation
The group call is one of the standard call form in a radio system analog, digital or poc. This allows all users within a subgroup to listen in and initiate the conversations of their own subgroup.
Selective call
In addition to the group call, there is the option of selectively calling a user. The selective call allows communication between individuals.
Emergency call
In the realptt system, the emergency call is the highest priority call. The alarm will be able to be sent separately from the calls to the preset radios or the dispatcher.
Busy signal at busy channel
Trunking systems have the limitation of the channel capacity. The realptt network offers the possibility to always start your conversation when the group is free. You are therefore not dependent on the number of frequencies for which you have applied for a license or the number of channels the trunking network has. So it will never be busy due to lack of conversation channels on your network. If another extension is speaking in your talkgroup, you will hear a busy tone. Unless you have a higher priority than the current caller. There are 10 levels of priority in the realptt network.
